Ingredients:

3 packets of imitation lobster

1 1/2 tbsp olive oil

1 1/2 tbsp butter

1 small chopped yellow onion

4 medium chopped garlic cloves

1 medium chopped red bell pepper

1 cube chicken bouillon

2 tbsp flour

2 tbsp tomato paste

1/2 cup white grape sparkling cider

4 cups vegetable broth

2 tbsp dried tarragon

1 tsp kosher salt

1 tsp black pepper

1/2 cup heavy cream

The Cooking Experience:

As an Adventist, I do not consume wine or lobster. This recipe offers a delicious alternative, using white grape sparkling cider and imitation lobster instead making this a Christian-friendly lobster bisque recipe that is rich, comforting, and full of flavor.

In a large, heavy skillet over low to medium heat, warm the oil and butter. Add the onion and garlic, cooking for 5 minutes while stirring often. Add the bell pepper and continue cooking, stirring frequently, for another 5 minutes. Crumble in the chicken bouillon and mix well.

Add the flour and stir constantly for 3 minutes. Slowly pour in the white grape sparkling cider, stirring vigorously, then add the tomato paste. Gradually add the vegetable broth, stirring gently until the mixture begins to thicken, about 3 minutes. Stir in the tarragon, salt, and black pepper.

Break apart the imitation lobster from two packets and add it to the skillet. Stir in the cream and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove the skillet from the heat, then carefully transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour the blended bisque into a large pot. Add the remaining packet of imitation lobster and heat over medium heat until warmed through and at your desired serving temperature. Serve with bread and a salad for a truly delicious, luxurious meal.
