The Crafting Experience:
Two Christmases ago, my brother bought me my first miniature book nook, and I was so excited to assemble it. Unfortunately, it was quite complicated, with many tiny, delicate wooden pieces that kept breaking. Eventually, I had no choice but to wave the white flag and throw it out.
Since then, I’ve been looking for an excuse to try an easier book nook kit, and A Dusk of Stars gave me the perfect opportunity. The kit includes everything you need: the pieces themselves, glue, and a tool for popping out the pieces and pressing them into the slots so they fit together like a puzzle. It also comes with a file, just in case any pieces don’t fit perfectly and need a little adjustment.
The instructions are thorough and easy to follow, and this particular company even included extra delicate pieces in case any of the originals broke. I found the project easy and relaxing to complete. As an added bonus, it came with an LED light, allowing me to see all the details inside my tiny bookstore.
Overall, this was a wonderful project, and I plan to buy more book nooks to assemble and decorate my bookshelves.
